John is a successful entrepreneur with irrepressible passion for business and life combining extensive business content with a rich experience of information and management. John has business experience in sectors such as property, asset management, care industry, retail and hospitality and has business interests in these sectors employing a team of over 60 overall. Also a Master Coach with the prestigious Institute of Leadership and Management and currently studying to a Masters qualification John decided to share his wealth of experience in business and management throughout the last eighteen years and incorporated John Grimes Consultancy to help start and promote businesses.

Jacklyn Grimes - DirectorJacklyn Grimes LL.B (Hons)

Jacklyn completed a Law Degree graduating with Honours at Lancaster University and is a member of the Law Society. Jacklyn carved out a successful career for herself working for corporate legal companies in various areas of law including PI, family, litigation, criminal law and property. Jacklyn is also a Director of successful care company and has won various awards in the women in business and care industry awards. Jacklyn recently extended her academic knowledge and completed the Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) course and Level 5 registered managers award.

Laura is head of our administration team and is often the first point of contact when booking a consultancy or appointment. Laura is an experienced administrator with some 13 years service in the legal field and alongside Louise on switchboard will administer the booking and paperwork for your consultancy or appointments and will be happy to answer any of your general enquiries.

Andy has spent more than 15 years in the Security Industry providing advice and services to private and public sector clients. Working with these clients to resolve security related matters from their physical security arrangements, tackling workplace violence, writing policies and procedures to covert surveillance. Andy has worked with some very large clients providing security management arrangements for over 6000 staff and advising on security from a new build stage through to conception.
Andy provides a total project management service from asset control, physical & electronic security to installation, strategies & training to deal with violence against staff and business contingency planning.

Toni achieved BA (Hons) in Event Management at John Moores University. After achieving her degree Toni went on to gain a wealth of experience and has worked in corporate events sector and has worked for various blue chip companies developing their marketing and corporate hospitality strategies. Her excellent organisational skills and calm approach ensures client’s objectives and expectations are always achieved whilst ensuring their events run effortlessly and smoothly. This experience, combined with her excellent people skills, has seen Toni settle in perfectly into the John Grimes Consultancy team and event schedule.

Gill holds a BA Honours degree and studied at Newcastle University. Gill brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the John Grimes Consultancy team in the area of organisational development and Human Resources, drawing on her extensive business background at a senior level in Human Resources management and has a highly successful track record in senior Human Resource management roles with extensive experience across various industries (IT, construction, manufacturing and health) and with multinationals, SME’s and the public sector. She has a results oriented approach, focussing on people as the key driver in the achievement of business goals.

With almost 20 years in the media and corporate PR industry James has a wealth of experience in managing reputations and ensuring companies take advantage of their opportunities. He lectures at Universities and regularly presents as a guest speaker to both local and international audiences around the country. An active member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, his public relations experience covers most sectors and he has been involved in high level management of the media in crisis situations. James is a big advocate of spending time with clients beyond just monthly updates as an important element of building strong and knowledgeable partnerships.

Peter is a highly regarded business and finance professional and is a Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He has worked extensively in finance and accounting for the last 18 years, including positions as Director of Finance for various public and private companies. Peters has experience in acquisitions, spin-offs and operational initiatives including owner managed businesses, charities and not for profit organisations which gives him solid grounding in the needs of non-financial managers and leaders. As Controller of a corporate organisation, Peter worked closely with the executive team to implement financial concepts and initiatives and teach how to read and interpret financial statements. Peter has a passion for advising and supporting start up business.

Rebecca achieved BA (Hons) in Business Management (Marketing) at Leeds University. Rebecca went on to gain a wealth of experience in the areas of Marketing and Communications after her relocation to London in 2003. Her role as Marketing Manager for an international Training & Development organisation offered her the opportunity to develop and implement strategic initiatives before eventually starting her own business in 2007. Responding to numerous requests for independent business support, Rebecca began consulting full-time, providing Marketing solutions to a wide range of clients from the Royal Air Force to leading Advertising Agencies. It was during this time as a Marketing Specialist that Rebecca was introduced to John Grimes Consultancy and is keen to contribute her knowledge to our clients.

Throughout his career Daniel has competed in sports such as Tennis, Swimming, Golf, Fencing, Cricket, Rugby, and Shooting and has competed in various Triathlons. Daniel has a real passion for Health, Fitness and Wellbeing and over the years has helped corporate and SME employers implement wellness programmes within their organisations.
